One of the things we love is traveling. We also like spending the least amount of money on travel so that we can travel more. Isn’t that what everyone wants to do? One of the things we’ll feature in our blog posts is some of our travels and how we have been able to travel as cheaply as we can by using points from credit cards.
Today, one of the cards I’d like to highlight is the Capital One Venture Card (Check It Out Here). We have used this card in the past to get 75,000 points after spending $4,000 on it in the first 3 months of opening it. The $4,000 in spending also added another 8,000 points as you get 2 points per dollar spent. So after 3 months we had around 83,000 points ready for us to use.
We used these miles for a quick trip to Denver recently for our family to go to a wedding and have some fun in the mountains. In future blog posts we’ll cover lots of questions we get around using credit cards for points and traveling with your family. Here are some upcoming topics we hope to cover.
